This is a somewhat new theory based on a view from Revelation 20:3 where Satan is released after the Millennial reign of Christ to wreak havoc on earth one more time. Following the “little season”, Satan is then cast into the lake of fire once and for all.
Revelation 20:10 “And the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur, into which the beast and the false prophet had already been thrown. There they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.” So the question is, could we actually be living, currently, in Satan’s Little Season? The study is very fascinating and actually quite compelling.
